Would You Buy It?? Not Me. Too much for a Holster IMHO.
It's nice, but WOW! $249.95?

I bought this one from Wilson Combat about 7 or 8 years ago. It's full quill ostrich and elephant, never been worn.

Thanks, I don't remember what it cost, but it was too damn much. I had an Ed Brown 1911 ordered at the time and wanted something nice for it on a drunken whim.

Considering it's "Baby Poop Yellow" in color, I'd give them $24.99 for it :o

No, I wouldn't buy it,

For that price could have gotten a holster and two double mag holders,,,,,,,,,

It's all relative. If you can afford $4000 for a pistol what's another 250 for a rig? Ever see the prices of Del Fatti holsters?

I spent about 125 for my Wilson Lo Profile in Sharkskin, and have never regretted it. Most comfortable and concealable OWB holster I've ever owned. And yup, I carry a Wilson pistol in it :)

I'm sure the name has something to do with the price.

While I haven't yet, I might spend that much on a holster but not THAT holster. Too plain-jane for my $250.

Interesting they call it "Rafter L". Google "Rafter S" and get some coffee to read up on that goat rodeo. Stella (Rafter S) made holsters for Wilson for awhile, then started ripping people off. She got killed in a truck crash in Texas. Wonder if her old partner revived the company...I heard he was trying to clean up the mess she left

No it's a different entity, run by Erik Little. I remember reading how they weren't related in any way, and had to look it up to jog my memory. It turns out the name Rafter L is a family cattle brand that's been in his family since the 1800s. He chose the website domain combatgunleather.com specifically to avoid confusion between the two. I used to get the two confused. I looked into it deeper after meeting Mr. Little at a leather trade show a few years ago. This was right around the time the trouble with Rafter S was starting to rear it's head. I knew they were two different companies, but didn't know if I had met the "troublesome" Rafter or not. Turns out I had not.

I've paid over 2 bills for a custom leather holster several times, but that holster isn't worth their asking price, to me.

agreed. Nice looking and well boned, but not worth what they are asking

I thought it was overpriced.

The boning on the front was minimal, and nonexistent on the back.

Seems like my Brommelands go for @$140. plus $10. shipping.

I currently have three, and should be getting two more soon.

They take awhile, though, as Gary is a one man shop. The last two were ordered last August.

This is my Commander sized Max Con-V IWB:

Better craftsmanship for a lot less money in my estimation.

I'm sure the name has something to do with the price.

Both ways, Name costs money but also promises quality. I am sure that the holster is very well made, but too plain for the cost. I love and use my Wilson Lo Profile. Great holster. I have mentioned I have a holster jones. Just bought these for the workmanship, quality and detail. Have no idea when or if I will wear them but I like them. Go figure. Total cost about half of the Wilson in question with free shipping. No key holder for the Honda Civic.

Do not do BBQ armed and concealed carry, so? Love the workmanship. 5 layers of leather on these. What do you think?
