Been awhile since I've posted up, but been lurking. Wife did this to me on monday.

She started doing all these mystic funny texts at work and a FB post as well.

Was a little worried about what was going on when I saw pictures of her buying a goat......

Got home and we played with the little chilling and then she surprised me. Found out she was conspiring with a buddy of mine and her ex husband who I got into shooting. He is also great people as well. They both had been asking me wheel gun questions and haven't made a second thought about it. Her ex is a huge wheel gun guy now and my buddy is just a a$$hole, but loved as a brother.

But anyways I wondered why they were asking about different models of S&W 38 wheel guns. Didn't think anything of it because people ask and I let them know my thoughts...

Then the wife told me to take the towel off the table out in the garage. I knew something was up with the rectangle looking box shape on the top part of it. I looked at the box and it looked like ammo box, but taller then 9 or 45.

Then low and behold I removed the towel and there was a bigger box underneath.

A new Model 638...

She was hoping I liked it because she knew I wanted a model 36, but couldn't afford one and told her I love it. She had been planning this since January when she started at the new job.

This women surprises me with her blessings and can't say anything but with all the struggle going on right now. She is a good one and blessed I found her.

Had the chance wednesday to put 10 down it in the back yard and just love the action. The DA is nice and smooth. The SA is about as light as my 1911 I worked over.

Can't wait to get some more ammo and hit the range with it. Leaps and bounds over the Taurus the wife had and hated even after a trigger job.

Then put some money away for a holster, ankle holster, and some SD ammo.

Congrats Zuk! I've got a 642 I bought several years ago. Dry fired the heck out of it (with snapcaps). The trigger got even better--buttery smooth.

Nice lady. You are a lucky guy. Treat her nicely, she deserves a very nice treat, too.

Thanks guys. She s great. The new job is helping us out big time, but the hours aren't very fun. She is in the training program to be a dispatcher at the local SO.

Thanks Joe :p

I could use a new garden hose pig funny

Found a good deal on some Buffalo Bore 158 grain SWC and ordered it tonight. I'll be rounding a holster so I can carry it next month :)
