I'd grab one if I didn't already have one.

M&P's are like Lay's potato chips, "ya can't have just one" :D

If I had my way, I'd have one of every model and caliber.

Why? Because I'm a materialistic weasel, that's why! :D

I'm looking at an extremely cheap RIA 1911 for a truck gun, nothing more, nothing less. I've been looking at this one for a couple of days, may go ahead and buy it. The first Rock Island I bought I got my money back on, it had incurable issues, anybody know anything about this one?

That's a good price. You know John aka Automag is our resident Armscor/RIA guru. He might be able to get you an even better deal.

I just bought the RIA. I'm very curious, we shall see. In all honesty I don't want or expect much from it, just a truck gun. If it turns out pretty good, that's just gravy:).

Actually there is nothing wrong with the trigger....
The box does say trigger is 5.5#'s but it is actually about 8#'s.

But almost everyone who has one will say that it is very crisp and breaks clean.

and for a small cost of changing the trigger connector and plunger spring with a Ghost connector the trigger goes down to 4.5#'s....still crisp, breaks clean and resets fast.

Yep, it is a fine small gun (if you can find one) and if you are willing to put in some minor mods, it is a great small gun!

I guess I missed his complain...will have to go look at it

Just took a look at Jim's post and he was talking about a Glock 19 G4 not a 43

Glock has changed the trigger system for the little Glocks (42 & 43)
