Well after running to a few places today I found my new hunting knife. I got a Buck 119. I really like the feel of it in my hand. Not sure if I am crazy about the sheath yet though, I am not used to a locking sheath. Will see how that works in the field. I was torn between the 105 and this but felt that it was a bit small. The blade was more flexible for field dressing but didn't think a thicker blade would be a big setback. I like buck stuff so I am sure I am not going to be disappointed with this.

Beautiful knife! Please update after use.
Ps: give Panther Concealment a call for a great sheath.
Certainly NOTHING wrong with a Buck!! Congrats, you did good.

Nice! Enjoy in health. And plus one on panther. All my knives get dressed by them before ever carrying. I don't like the locks either, and Scot and Jim come up with a great retention while giving the smoothest draw possible.

The 110 is a classic! Nothing not to love about it. Now for field dressing and other woodsman chores supplement the 119 with a Buck 110 and you're all set
