Redhawk 45 duo

A tardy range report on the new 45. Ammo was 230gr Berry plated HP over 9gr Alliant Unique using a CCI large pistol primer. I' sure there will be some powder recommendations, but its like this..I've been loading Unique since I was 16 and am comfortable with it, besides, i have 8 pounds of it to use.

First group..ok but off center

I really like this weapon and plan for it to be my backup woods gun this year.

Ruger redhawk 4.2" bbl, 45colt and acp. Only 45colt in this report. 25 feet.

don't know if you'd ever be interested in these but here are some articles I found a while back about Ruger only 45acp loads.

these would be unsafe in anything but a large frame Ruger or freedom arms revolver.
