Just like war.the enemy has a say. The hogs declined our invite to the party. It appears a large group of hog hunters with dogs had been running them several days this week. Ah well. A good time was had by all. Hope to very a pic of the pig but he has been elusive. Oh the rifle... I'll let him tell you all about it.

Colonel and his friends were gracious hosts. Largemouth bass filets, hush puppies, fries, slaw, baked beans, deer sausage, braughts and ribeye steaks, all cooked outside. Adult beverages and campfire. Rifle finally got to minute of dead.

A few good friends and beer and no hogs... well you can't get them all in bunch.

Sounds like a great time even if only one pig showed up. :D I am happy to put the Savage back on my list and happy that it worked out for you Mike. Nothing worse than a new firearm that doesn't function as more than a club. Sharing great food and adult beverages with friends is the best reward I know.
