Not really being into knives, all that I do own have been gifts from friends here.

Well, yesterday I was driving through downtown and noticed a new (to me) shop that advertised knives, tactical gear, firearm accessories, etc. so Jr and I stopped in.

http://knifeandtactical.com/

Cool place, tacticool vests and such on the walls and display cases full of various knives.

Chatted with the Jason, the shop owner for a bit and then saw this neat little thing and bought it on a whim, hell it was only $20 OTD, so why not? Always wanted a spring loaded out the front knife, so now I have one. Cute little thingy eh? And yes, it's Cali legal. Blade is only 1.9" long. More of a novelty/letter opener if anything.

OTBW, have any of you heard of Rat Worx knives? I guess they're chain operated, spring loaded knives? Jason says he's getting some in and the starting price is around $385. He showed me their website, pretty cool looking knives. To rich for my budget.

Here's my wittle toy:

I had one switchblade that came out the front in high school. One day in class, it sprung, and nearly took some things off that were near and dear to me. I do not think that one would do that much damage, unless Caleb had it in his pocket.

I've heard of Rat Worx

Nice!
Is it legal because of the blade length? Here we have no limitations on blade, but can't have auto opening knives.

My Kershaws open as fast as the Rat Worx knife, and the handles aren't as fat. But it's interesting.

Thanks. Yes, I believe it's 2" for the OTF style knife.

Hey Ellison, is that Legal in Commifornia, or is it just to use in your house?

Believe it or not, it's actually legal here.
