Not sure if any of you have seen these before, I just came across them myself.

The trigger in the photo is a Apex Flat Faced trigger. They're amazing.

So not a stock trigger......hmmmmm......more interesting......I guess only way to try one is find a person who customized a bit.

I would think that the extension would make the Shield print a bit more under clothing... which sort of defeats the intent of the Shield to begin with. I.E. Single stack, easy to hide?

You can get 12 rounds out of a double stack Taurus G2 for about $250 total, and it has the same footprint as the Shield, albeit a little thicker in the grip.

True that on the printing.

He doesn't have to worry about printing. He can't carry it outside of his house.:p

Actually Ellison, you should try the Taurus G2. I did the research before I purchased one... and as the reviewers (mostly ) said: "Taurus finally got it right". I carry mine when cycling. No, it's not a M&P, but the fit and finish is just as good. No, its not a Glock, but it sure looks like one when you take it apart for cleaning. No, it's none of the wondernines, but mine simply....

Works.

I carry a full size pistol daily so the extension/printing is a non issue. I do like the shorter barrel...easier/faster to draw. This pistol deserves a second look.

I have seen those. Makes the grip too long for me to not print. I'll stick to the 9rd mags. Nice product tho.
