I have had to send my VBOB in once and my vbob slide in just recently to the great folks at Dan Wesson.

The first time was when the vbob was brand new and I was experiencing failure to feeds more often than not, I had the gun back in my possession in one week and have not experienced any additional failure to feeds.

Just this month I contacted DW again to have the rear straight eight sight replaced with a tactical ledge 2 dot sight. They received the slide on a Monday after 2pm and it shipped on Wednesday of the same week.

Many thanks to Shawn and the whole crew at DW.

The posting rules state that I am unable to post attachments. I did take a photo of the sites and my vbob. What is the best way to post them?

Publish the photo to some place like Imgur or Photobucket and then refer to that URL in your post via the "Insert Image" button. I think that's what most folks do, here, even with full COTEP privileges. This, to keep the load on the server down.

Do you see the "Insert image" button on your editor window (the mountain with the risen sun to the right on it)?

Not sure ???, but you may? need to get *Alex (admin) to wave his magic wand before you can post pics.

Best way that I've found is to upload to a free Photobucket account, then "share" the image... it's not a real share, it just copies the image to your memory, then you paste it into your reply. Works like a charm.

I've used DW Customer care in the past year also. The slide on my Guardian developed "Ghosting"... in which it looked like someone spilled solvent on the top of the slide. Sent the gun back to DW and it was gone for about 10 days. Came back with the slide completely refinished. Excellent service. Just missing the magazine. Not a big deal, called them and they sent a new one. Excellent service.

Or download Tapatalk from the Google play store (nor sure if it exists for iPhone) and you can take pics with your phone and directly upload to forum

Just a normal vbob. Not nearly as pretty as those that have had work done. I need to get to the range to see how I fare with the new sights. The photo of the rear sights is off they actually glow white and not green. Looking at some of penguins grips.
