It's new, so I haven't had time to customize it, but I have had time to shoot it. I love this gun. Tight, and balls accurate. Here's a pic I took of mine.

Nice!! In my opinion, one of Springfield's better efforts...

I really like my RO... very accurate gun and lots of options or the money. I had to change the sights, I never cared for adjustables, but over all its nice shooter. I opted for the Harrison Designs rear sight, 10-8 brass bead front sight, a new plunger tube (mine was loose), flat trigger and a KART barrel bushing.
I have a build thread here:

I changed the sights on mine, too. My tired old eyes have trouble focusing on black on black sights. So I put a Kensight dot adjustable on the rear, and a Hi Viz on the front. Now I can see 3 dots; 2 white, and one high visability green dot in the middle. Now THAT i can see. Where do you get a brass bead front sight?

Well, I have changed the sights on it, but the next step is a set of grips. I'm still looking and deciding what I want. I like a contrast of light colored grips on the dark frame. Being left handed, I'd like to put an ambi safety on it, maybe stainless with a stainless slide stop.

I walked into my LGS and they had one left. I traded six guns I don't use anymore for it. I came out on the short end in the long run, but I have something I'll cherish and shoot a lot more than the six I traded.

I've been looking at his grips. Very nice. I'm just deciding what exactly I want. I like Ivory, but that would be a while before I can afford those. I was thinking maybe something scrimshawed, or just go with a beautiful exotic wood. I can go either way and be happy (just on the grips, guys don't get carried away ;) ).

Nice pistol. On a side note, a federal judge said ya'lls CC permit law was unconstitutional..you may get "shall issue" like us yet

Yeah, I heard that this morning. Over on the Maryland Shooters forum, that's all they can talk about. A thread started this morning, and is over 30 pages already, last I check at about 4:30pm. It's just a first stage, but it looks very promising. I'm thinking of going to the MD State Police for fingerprinting and applying before they can get a stay pending appeal. Talk is, they may not get the appeal anyways. We'll see. It looks promising though.

A lot of guys are starting to apply. There is some confusion as to submitting fingerprints and such. New rules that went into effect on March 1. I think I'll wait a little and see how it goes. If guys start getting permits, I'm the next guy in line! :)

My Omega 10mm longslide. It's a pleasure to shoot and very accurate.
