I got a pistol today, a Sig p238. been looking for one for awhile now. I traded a Walther PPK even for it. I got it for the wife. The PPK bit her a few times and she didn't want any part of it.
P238 is used, but very little. The only way I could tell was the barrel was dirty. Who ever had it before didn't even lube it, it was bone dry. I'll try to get to the range tomorrow with it. No pics yet. It's the Nitron model.

I like the Sig's. Attended a class at the Sig plant in New Hampshire and they let us play with all their toys and even supplied the ammo.

Alright, what's the COTEP secret on these P238"s? Seems like everyone is purchasing one.

I have one also and if you are looking for holsters, check out my for sale items for the 238.

Actually, I had one until my wife took it for her bag:D

Yep on the Sig P238 also. Great pistol, accurate, reliable, easy to shoot, fantastic pocket gun.

Love mine. I carry it in a pocket holster.

I have the SAS and I love it. I have a Dave Bullard "Dual Carry" holster for it. I like that it's close to the 1911 platform and it shoots a ton nicer than my LCP...

Thanks,

Russ

Not me - I've got two. My wife claimed the first one I brought home. Great shooting, accurate little gun!

Range report on the new Sig. Shot 100 rounds of some cheap Mexican made stuff and 50 rounds of Privi something made in Serbia. I wanted to use that stuff up. Shot all over the place, I'm gonna blame it on the ammo.
The wife shot it too and she had the same results.
Did not have any ftf's or fte's. We were shooting from 10 yards. We both liked it and we'll try again with some WWB, Fed. and Remington.
That ammo was really dirty stuff. It's all gone now.
Tried to put up some pic's. I'll work on that.

I got one. But it says "Colt Mustang Plus II" on the slide. Does that count?

Hey Kramm,
Mines pretty accurate for a little pistol. A whole lot better than that POS LCP.
Give it a chance,

Jim

So of course I had to see what this gun looks like.. Might be worth a fondle the next time at the lgs..

Did find this safety recall for those of you who have them. Might be old news but worth checking into..

Steve, I'll bring the Colt with me next time we shoot. The 238 is a clone of the Colt.

I'm not to excited about the accuracy right now. I'll shoot it a bit and get more in tune with it. I'm hoping the trigger will lighten up some. I don't know how much it was shot by the previous owner, but I'd say not much. It was shooting about 4-6 inches high but pretty much in the center. That was at 30 feet.
