Howdy Y'All

Back form a week long assignment and went down to my local mercantile looking for a Colt SSA not one to find in my Price range or any price range for that matter.
He did have a New Vaquero in 45 Colt and the deal was to good to pass up, so I took it home and I am about to go out and run some lead through it.

Here it is:

I have two, but with the simulated ivory grips. Good luck with it.

if I was to get an auto, I would look for a SAA. Nice rig!

How do you like the grips on yours? Are they Checkered? Do they get slippery?

Nice gun. I'd like to sell my pair of Uberti SAA's, and buy a pair of those. Sweet! :D

My Uberti's are nice, but you always wonder when it's going to break. The Rugers' are much stronger. I like 'em. :D

I like them. They're not checkered and I've never had a problem with them getting slippery, even during those dog days of summer.
