Nice pic, Doc. Ellison, that there is a deer. People in normal states are allowed to kill and consume them. They are NOT on any endangered species list, nor are they known by any state other than California to cause cancer.

Maybe I'm a tad slow... I recognize the deer - what's that hanging from the tree in the back ground?

Lane, I think Sunderbrew is wrong. I think that what you are seeing in the photo is a Nazi inspired UFO getting ready for a landing. I saw one just like it on "Nazi UFO Conspiracies" on the History Channel a few weeks ago. Looked just like it! In fact, if this is true... then ....

Someone might have given us the first real picture of an alien! At the bottom left of the screen... there is a brown furry figure, with antenna coming from its head. Long nose, beady little black eyes. I think it was waiting for it's aircraft to land.

Just sayin......
LOL

Ah yes, a feeder...what better way than to shoot a deer than by entrapment.

At least in California, when we hunt deer, we actually have to work for the kill....meaning go hiking and LOOK for the animal. Not set a "bait trap", sit back and wait.

BINGO!!! We have a winner.

I agree Ellison, no way to hunt deer or any animal for that matter.

In Texas they use feeders extensively. Being from Colorado I never really understood why, until I figured it out one day.

In the West there is public land a plenty a guy simply needs to pull a tag for a particular area and then hunt that assigned area.

But in Texas there is a lack of public property almost none really. So if you want deer on your land or the hunting lease that you have purchased you have to entice the deer to stay on your land and not the neighbor's. Thus the use of feeders.

I prefer to lay wait in the tree, then jump on the Deer and wrestle them into submission. More "sporting" that way. LOL :D

Yeah so what's your point? I have gun magazines from 2008 that my wife keeps trying to throw out too. I can't remember what I read last week, so old news is new news to me!!!! Ya gotta love it!
