Well,Howdy Y'all
It was Saturday and time to get back to the sport of Cowboy shooting
.
The day started off with great weather, sun in the sky and the temps in the mid 80's. But y'all know that that means in Florida. If you don't like the weather just stick around an hour.
Well, we started and the first two stages went off with out a hitch, nice sky with white puffy clouds..............
We had a small posse of 16, so we went at it.
Four of our members shot our new category of Urban Cowboy (45 ACP auto, 2 mags, BUT THEY CAN BE MODERN, they do not have to be 1919 vintage).
By the third stage we were all having some fun and your poster was gong at a CLEAN MATCH Pace.
We started the third stage and the heavens decided to open up and cool us off with temps dropping into the Low 70's and rain a hard and heavy as it could get.
Some of stayed and shot, and some went for cover. It had to happen during the middle of my run and although I had a clean stage my time was very slow (shot shells got a little slippery, leaver went a little slower and the targets seemed to want to hide in the rain.
When the 30 minute shower was over, the temps went back up to the 80's and we all now good and wet, ant back to finish the days stages.
Here are some pics from the day.
