"Nothing special"? It's fun to shoot and made in America. Seems like it could be an excellent purchase. Good luck for many enjoyable years with it. I love shooting 22s with the kids.

Good for you John, I like the top one the most....but the grips on the second look pretty cool!

Ellison, I also like the longer barrel better.:)

The shorter barrel version I traded some ammo for so I was cool with it.

i picked up the bottom one in the mid 90's, maybe 96. I was never overly pleased with its accuracy. It was a good plinker, but it was most accurate when thrown.

Cool john, I have one of those and she has whacked many groundhogs and lots of tin cans out back... The biggest tip I can give you; and it's right in the owners manual (which I read after my personal experience) is not to use solvents on the frame... Even mild stuff like hoppes can mess up the finish of the frame... It's cool to use on the barrel and cylinder etc but is too harsh on the finish and leaves it kinda messed up... Just an FYI so you don't have one that looks like mine now does!
