ive wanted an SBR (short barrel rifle) for quite a while and last summer I finally sent in my $200 to BATF for my stamp of approval (hehehe). bought/traded for the Noveske stripped lower and had it engraved to follow the rules. I couldn't put anything together until feds approved the SBR stamp (which goes on the lower, not the upper). went ahead and bought the upper and other parts LPK, etc and then just waited. I'm glad I did it because I'm afraid if somekind of AWB passes then we may not be able to build these. anyone can do this, just takes getting the tax stamp from the feds.

It does look great! Not being a rifle guy, is it also suppressed?

thanks! hoping we all get to keep what we have. I'd hate to have a boating accident again and the rest of the toys fall overboard accidentally. . . . .

I forgot to include that it's a .300 BLK (AAC) caliber.

Hey, that's really nice. My SIL is waiting for his stuff from the Feds for the rifle he's building.

I assume this is full auto hence the stamp and paperwork?

Just SBR no SMG, no suppressor. Any barrel less than 16" is considered a short barrel rifle and to have one you get to pay the Feds $200 and get to tell them what you're constructing. In return if they approve it, you get a piece of paper and it has to match if LEO ASKS! Still worth it!

Last time I had the SCAR at the range, I had a guy offer me 3500 cash. Crazy for sure, but I declined. Heck I bought it cheap so why not hang onto it.
