Hey, don't forget CZ makes a darned fine SA/DA automatic:

It ain't sexy but it is a solid performer. It's the most reliable semi-auto firearm I've ever owned. As long as I've owned this pistol, I've had one jam, - a stovepipe with an aluminum cased 115 gr Blazer during the initial break-in.

It shoots best with 124 grain NATO loads.

It's the only non-1911 that has a natural point of aim for me. It has very close to the same profile as a 1911 with arched mainspring housing and palmswell grips, which is how my 1911's are outfitted.

Just wish the damn things didn't have such a l-o-n-g LOP. Can't use 'em because of it. My finger is just too short :( Shame as I really like the design.

Yeah, that three stage single action trigger pull is a bit different after shooting a crisp 1911 trigger. Doesn't really bother me that much because I shot much worse triggers most of my life.

Picked one up about 6 months ago. Have not shot it yet.

I have the 75 compact, it has been both reliable and accurate. There are 14 rounds in each target, from 10 and 25 yards. I did not like the da/sa trigger so I converted it to single action only. I have the safety model , not the decocker, so now it functions just like a 1911. I like the feel of this gun, feels a lot like a Hi Power to me.
