Since Ole Bummer now made it harder for us Law Abiding Gun Lovers hard to reload.

This is for us to Swap Reloading Components or Reloading Gear..............

Great idea, Doc.

But I hope "this too shall pass", and the world will be back to near normal this spring.

I came up with an idea like this a few months ago and not many were in favor of it, said it would cut into the Karma posts!!!!

I like it though Clyde!!!:)

Jake and I went to the gun shop in Newberry. I inquired, where is your reloading equipment section? The reply was: we have none left. Not a primer, tumbler, priming tool, nothing. All gone. Little store had folks waiting in line at the counter. Jakes youth model Winchester .22 that I paid 20 bucks for years ago? Same model, about the same age, well used....210 bucks. Single shot.

I agree Clyde but it should include everything not just reloading gear!!! Beside I have all of the reloading gear that I need for right now!!! I buy in quantity and plan for days like this!!! The powder, primers, bullets and brass will not go bad if stored properly and could be a bargaining tool if need be!!!

Yep around these parts too...but last time I was home to visit the family in MN I found a little known gunsmithing shop in a very very small town. I stopped in because I have never even seen it before. He told me he had been there for 16 years...anyways he had EVERYTHING reloading you could want...I stalked up and can not wait to go back in feb to blow the budget again on primers/powder/bullets.....And the best part..prices are reasonable...

Good idea. I'm still accumulating and my locals are still in business, but I do have an unopened, unused Lee Safety Powder Scale to offer up - I'm using a cheap digi with my eyes on one of the RCBS auto measure rigs, so the digi will soon be the backup.

Handgun

.454 Casull

Rifle
.444 Marlin

Ell sent me dies and loading blocks. Ed has a scale on the way to me. Went to Gander Mountain yesterday and only found a powder funnel..they have empty shelves. Dave is seeing if he has an extra shellholder. Just getting it as I can..the panic hit here HARD..considering even granny keeps a gun under her pillow, and we have over one million folks with a concealed carry license..everybody bought at once

Ok Guys I have approximately 1000 remmington 155 gr hollow point .400 diameter bullets. I no longer have a .40 S&W pistol. Riverpig do you have any .40s you are trying to get set up for? Lacking a reloading Newbie that needs help getting started if someone has approximately equal numbers of 9mm jacketed we can work a swap.

Semper Paratus

Pig--I can probably help with some 158 gr LSWC for the .38. Most frequent range has deceived themselves into believing their lead problems go away with jacketed or plated bullets.

I have a bunch of once fired .40 S&W brass and nickel, I'm always looking for 45ACP(Lg Primer) and 22TCM Brass! If it wasn't a pain to ship powders with HAZMAT and all I'd do some powder swappin' ...There are a few occasions where I try something new, make a few rounds and have abandoned powders (Unless I completely run out of my favorites!)

Primers are the hardest thing to get where I live right now!!

Oh and I have some small primer 45ACP laying around too... always looking for lead in 9mm, 38spl, 45acp, etc... When I get down to my reloading room later I'll put up some stuff....

Also: I'm not apposed to lending stuff out to fellow COTEP members, like dies, etc if you need something and I can spare it then I may be able to help!

update 03-7-13
The .41 mag brass is off to a new home (Walter-"WXL") in Texas.

Bought two boxes of .38 spl dies for 20 bucks from a buddy on another forum..this was in there, says it's for casters who lube their .357 bullets. However, no expander die in either box. So I'm looking for a .38 spl expander die..however, if someone can use this, just let me know. This is an RCBS die, I believe

I have about 50 piece of brass for 357 and 38. didn't count out what was what but I don't use either so if anyone wants it, claim it adn send me a PM I will get it out to you when I get a chance...My buddy shoots is but doesn't pick it up and give it to me because he thinks that if I reload a few rounds I can load it all? He's just so darn nice....

Would love to trade for some 10mm or 45LP brass if anyone is up for it.....

Spoke with my LGS yesterday, and they said they are only getting like 20 purchases a day now, down from ~60 a day a month ago. So maybe, just maybe, it is starting to slow down. I can't see why it woudn't. There is nothing left to buy! :(
