So I have spent the better part of this morning picking corn cob media out of the primer pocket on some freshly cleaned brass.

Why you ask? Well i thought that by cleaning the brass with the old primers out would aid in the cleaning of the pocket, "WRONG" all it has done is make more work for myself.

That's why I decap first with a universal decapping die, then tumble and THEN size. The only purpose the decapping rod on the sizing die serves is knocking out the corn cob stuck in the flash holes.

That's why I wet tumbled with stainless steel now. Clean primer pockets and the media is sized so it doesn't get stuck in the flash hole.
