So this little fella followed me home a couple of weeks ago. I thought he'd look better with different covers and I added a couple of items to make it easier to use like the bolt pull.
My new Ruger 22/45 Lite, with extended mag release, Volquartsen hammer, Midwest Speed Strip, Molon Labe grips. trigger pull with the new hammer is 3# and the mags drop freely. I also did the Slingshot mod on it and added the Picatinny rail. Still waiting on a Valquartsen extended safety to be delivered.

Nice ron, I live mine as well...How do you like the speed strip? I have been tempted a couple times to get one but have not yet is it worth it?

it's great! just take the screw out from the top, dont have to go thru pulling the lever and bolt from the grip and the slide will come right out for cleaning. MUCH easier!

That's very nice! I looked at this and decided to go ahead and order the speed strip 3.2 kit from Midway.

The handle is from ZR Tactical Solutions. http://www.zrtacticalsolutions.com/
This is the charging handle made expressly for the 22/45:

**BTW, the Allen wrench that fits this handle is the smallest I've ever found and I had to buy one....it's a 0.05 and that's tiiinnnyyyyy!

Cabelas had federal bulk pack 375 rds/$15.95 a coupleweeksback and I bought 6 boxes. It showed up here and I ordered it. http://www.gunbot.net/ammo/22lr/

very cool Ron!

what's the Slingshot mod?

The detent ball and spring is removed from the bolt stop lever. The lever will now operate by gravity, just like a Mark III's bolt stop does, and can be released by simply retracting the bolt a released (Slingshot Method).

BTW, Iif you have a 22/45 or other Marks, this is a great, easy doc to use for everything associated......http://www.guntalk-online.com/2245detailstripping.htm#top
