There was a report on the big forum of a guy having a DW with a spent casing dated April something, 2013.

I just got a callback from Cabela's, asked them in Nov to search there stores for a Heritage (was to be my first Dan Wesson). just called me back (7 months later) and they said the manufacturer had informed them that the Heritage had been discontinued. I have since bought a Valor and a Guardian, good thing I didn't wait for them.

Got email from Keith two weeks ago asking how many magazines I wanted for my custom Bobtail Razorback in 38 Super. So it might be here for my 68th birthday next month. :D

Keith was working on it prior to Thanksgiving fire for Christmas 2012 delivery, then the place burned. No big deal I have my Bobtail RZ10 to play with, not to mention a few DW revolvers. :insane:

Just joined the Dan Wesson family with a CCO.

Happy to hear that they could rebuild and carry on.....perhaps their alliance with CZ-USA helped them to have a financial base to recover?

CZ was cause of "quick rebuild" but DW management had to work to keep it in NY as CZ wanted to leave NY to more friendly state. My guess was MO or TX, most likely MO as CZ USA in here.

Can't really say I blame CZ for that one. New York bites as far as Firearms go. Coumo is a P***k

I just read my post and realized I made it sound like Keith and the guys at DW didn't have much to do with DW's recovery.....What a goof! The money backing was important and necessary, but Keith and the crew at DW are why DW are up and running. I don't know this for fact but I would bet that CZ's first thoughts were who needs DW, let's take the insurance money and run. But Keith IMHO was probably the guy who actually saved DW by sticking by his guns (pun intended) and probably refusing to take a position with CZ abandoning DW and it's/his employee's and saved our much loved Dan Wesson guns.

I strongly believe this and for this reason and the fact I like their product I have told Keith that I want two more DW's, a custom LWC (Guardian) in 38 Super and 715 (38/357) from the next run of revolvers.
