I have a Sig Sauer 1911 with grip screw o-rings, they're Perfect sized!
Got the dial calipers out, and I was actually able to find these things at a place I never heard of for $4.95 per 100 + about $5.00 shipping!
Here ya go :

You want 1mm width x 6mm i.d. Metric size
That's .040 thick by .240 O.D. for non metric people.
Get some!

you can buy them at any Hardware Store. Basically they're O-Rings for faucets, size #62.

I can not find them ANYWHERE Local here. Lowes, Home Depot, Local Hardware, etc. No One has these. You are lucky if you can find these Locally.

I read somewhere (SIGFORUM?)that the correct size is #60

Nope #60 O-Rings are too thick! The O-rings Sig uses are again .040 thick, O.D is .240. Metric size is 1 mm thickness O.D. 6 mm.
I am telling you the Truth, I got some of Sig's O-Rings from them, I know you won't find them locally, anywhere.

#60 o-rings are 1.85 mm thick. Twice as thick as the o-rings Sig uses.
I have both. The Sig ones are WAY better. They lock better, and do not raise the screw head up! After some research, I found a place that sells the same o-ring Sig uses and sells for $2.00 each. I found those o-rings for $4.95 per 100!
I'm trying to share good info with my COTEP Brothers!

Hey guys, ask Clyde about these. These work Great and are NOT the common type # 60 you can get in hardware stores.
