Yesterday was a great IDPA match for me.

Woke yesterday and felt a little under the weather, Took a good dose of some meds and off I went, By the time I got to the range I felt like a new man.

I knew it was gonna be a good match after stage 1, my times were super fast and was getting good hits, Dropped 15 points in six stages and times were in the top six in all stages. I ended up 5 overall and FINALLY took 1st in my class.

Not bad for a 47 year old out of shape guy showing the younger guys up for a change.

Good job Edward At 62 I would not consider 47 old but you are creeping up on it. Keep those whippersnappers on their toes.

Ed, congrats on some very good shooting!!

I am 59......wish I was 47 again!!!

I love hearing my sons and my nephews friends say man he is 59............I still would not want to tangle with him.

Just to clarify..........my sons are in their upper 30's and my nephew in his upper 20's. Just did not want you to think that their friends were grade school kids!!!!!:D

I'm 47 soon to be 48 and until recently I was running and gunning and leaving guys 20 years my junior in the dust.
I'm a big proponent of not living a sedentary lifestyle and sir it looks like you're obviously not.
Again, great job!

hey, do all you old timers remember when gas was 10 cents a gallon? when a quarter would buy you a Movie with refreshments? when the Charleston and the lindy hop were all the rage?

good times:D

Thanks guys, A lot of hard work and many hours of trigger time has paid off, I lead a active life hate sitting still, I'll be 48 in 3 weeks and don't see me slowing down any time soon, And yes I LOVE TO WHIP UP on the youngsters, Most people don't believe me when I tell them my age.

I remember 50 cent gas and getting a RC and a Moon pie for a quarter.
