Correct on Auto Insurance, BUT, BIG Difference here on ObummerCare.
You buy car insurance because you choose to drive a car & you must have liability insurance to protect yourself & others if an accident occurs.
You have a CHOICE here. De-Tag your car & do not drive. No insurance needed.
Obummercare says EVERYBODY has to have it because we breath air, OR Pay a Fine? See the difference now?
Obama has made it to where you MUST pay, on way or another. Just to live.
Oh, except for the big corporations and labor unions He has given a waiver to, OR if you are a member of Congress or Upper level Government, they do not have to pay. Anyone else see something very WRONG going on here?

The SCOTUS disagreed. The states sued the fed to stop ACA on just that point...and lost. I think the court erred, but that was their ruling: you can be fined if you don't carry equivalent level insurance.
