Well my ongoing project continues..

It started with two New Ruger Vaqueros in 5 1/2 ", The guns were cut to 3 1/2 ", they were professionally short-stroked, the cylinder & plunger & shrowd were all fail-zeroed.

I am now into the engraving section portion of the project..
The engraver is Jim Downing and he is one of the best in the business.
The first part of the project as seen in the photos in the grip frame and the beginning of the loading gate.
The next phase will be the frame and that will be in January 2014.
The final phase will be the barrel.

The gun will then be refinished and I guess I will have to find a new project to work on

YeeHaaaa!

Thanks,
When phase two is completed with the engraving going ito the frame and following the grip frame, it should take on a life all of its own..
