Built the lower starting with a ST lower and bought a BCM Lightweight 11.5 URG and added the MOE and Troy BUIS. Should I put an optic or laser on it?

Don't forget the tacti-kewl can opener, GPS, and other fine AR attachments....funny.

It could look like this:

Just kidding.

Go with the optic first.

Then again, what the hell do I know, I don't even own a EBR.

It depends on how much money you are willing to put into it, the sky is the limit. I really like high-end optics, not so much on lasers. I bought my ACOG TAO1JP-PACK with the JP reticle a little over four years ago, it was $1,379 then, but worth every penny of it. It's a lot like racing, how fast or accurate do you want to go?

Since its a pistol, my suggestion would be the optic first. Adding a laser or light on the end when im comfortable shooting it. But then again you can do it....kinda like this.......(in 9mm).........my only pistol, but its waiting on a stamp to change it to SBR. The can already was on a stamp.

Definitely an optic first. For your build, I think the Aimpoint T1 would be perfect.

Agree. Was able to take it out and shoot it for the first time today and having the buffer tube on my cheek was easy. Had originally been concerned with having the back end of the weapon so close to my face but after shooting it, no more concern. So an Aimpoint micro optic, or one like it like the Sig or Primary Arms, is where I'm heading. I want to keep it light weight so will likely skip the laser. And it was a blast to shoot and really smooth.

I know Aimpoint is top of the line but I don't think I need top of the line for my use. Anyone have rec's on a similar optic? Either the Primary Arms, Sig, or another?

Don't know if I'll SBR it but I'm thinking a can is in it's future (which is why I went with the 11.5in barrel instead of the 10.3).

Ron,
really like the 9mm version you have. Can any lower work on the 9mm platform or do you have to get a 9mm lower? What's the barrel length on yours?

Any lower can do a 9mm, just takes a mag block then the upper. Mine is a DDLES dedicated 9mm upper and lower and it takes off the shelf glock mags. I don't have the can on in the picture but with a 7" barrel im addind the can and putting on a longer guard to hide the can

Heres one i use on some guns at a great price. EOTech. $368 minus $60 rebate right now.

Check this out a KAK pistol buffer and a SIG brace. A lot if the pistol owners really like the SIG brace

Get yourself the Sig arm brace and you will have a legal SBR, just saying.
