I knew they did custom coatings, had no idea they built custom 1911's. Anybody have any feedback?

Feed back? I like the stippling job on the front strap, that not only looks crazy cool, but looks like it would provide a nice, grippy surface.

I have had several pistols NP3 treated by Robar; including a Auto Ordinance 1911 that I had some work on. I was pleased with everything they did.

I have no firsthand experience but I seem to recall Robar and C&S being two of the top go-to's some twenty years ago. The fact that they're still around speaks volumes in my book!

Back in the day comedians used to ply their trade in the Catskills. Apparently what we have here is the Coteskills...:rolleyes:

funny My very first thought when I saw the picture was, If they can't checker a front strap I wouldn't want them building a gun for me. Different strokes......
