I'm about to put in an order. So far I'm not seeing hardly anyone that has either. They are available in a full rail or standard non-rail. A commander 10mm is very popular, especially with a full rail option also. Offering a COTEP discount of $10 over cost with $15 shipping.

These are the Tac 2 and 2011 versions with VZ grips, fiber optic front, and adjustable rear.

Send me PM or whatever you'd like. I'm interested in a commander 10mm no rail, non-ambi safety.

I still don't know what you are ordering. What brand? What is a Tac 2. to me a tac 2 is a Blaser/Sig sniper rifle. I would be interested in a 10mm commander.

Lonestar grips.

Scott

the 10mm without a rail is on my wish list but I need to buy a few others first.

Sorry guys. I thought I posted this in the RIA subsection so I assumed everyone knew I was talking about RIAs. I'll be more clear next time.

Shark - a non rail 10mm is $528 plus $15 for shipping. I'm going to be ordering by noon probably. There weren't many left when I checked last night at 10pm.

Mannnnnnn, must resist the urge to buy. You are not making it easy with your discount offer....

Unless you are trying to be stealthy for a reason (NSA?) you might want to speak plain English. I was thoroughly confused by your cryptic post also.:confused::confused:

I didn't notice it was in the RIA section, and instead of making a post to ask and possibly looking like an ignorant fool, I Googled "TAC 2" and "2011" to find out what manufacturer you were talking about. Even then it was indeterminate because RIA has a "TAC II", not a "TAC 2." It was only then that I finally noticed that it was posted in the RIA section.

By "midsize" I assume you mean "Commander length"?? Or does it include anything from a 4" barrel to a 5" barrel? (6" being "large")

Anyhow, I am interested in a 9mm and a 10mm, but neither in a "midsize". I'd like a 6" 10mm TAC II and a 3.5" 9mm TAC II.

Sorry Doc. I assumed wrong.

Midsize is the term that RIA uses for their 4.25" length 1911. Commander is a Colt term, but yes they are the same dimensions.

There is currently no 6" 10mm bring made by RIA.

A 3.5" 9mm Tactical 2 is $528 plus $15 shipping.

Please order mine and let me know how to pay, thanks and see my PM. Very kind of you. I have a full size 10mm that needs a friend.

Yeah, that's why I said "Commander length." :)

Just jerking your chain a little ;)

I'm itching all over for that 3.5" TAC 2, in 9mm, but I will have to wait to see what the damage is this fall when the kids go back to college :(

I wonder if they would make a COTEP special edition.

Wonder if some of the pros here could shorten the grip on a commander 10mm? I know where one will be pretty soon.

Talk to AutoMag. He's got the in with Arnel at RIA. He gets all the cool stuff before anyone else.

The commanders have arrived! They look great! The 10mms are my favorite. Just shipped one out to a COTEP member today.

Got mine today, it came at the same time the DoubleTap .45 arrived. I'm going to soak my hand overnight, have a chiropractor on standby and try to shoot the little rascal before the 10mm. My concern is that if I fire the 10mm first I won't be able to hold the DoubleTap. I'm told it kicks like a mule.

I'm impressed with the Commander size 10mm with the VZ grips. I stripped it of oil, cleaned it carefully and froglubed the whole thing. The trigger is very decent, the slide does not rattle at all, nice and tight and the package is impressive.

Standby for range report.

I got a chance to shoot the Mid Size 10MM at Academi in Moyock, North Carolina last month and it really does not "kick" that bad!! I probably ran 2 or 3 magazines through it as well as the TCM 22, XT 22 LR and 22 Magnum, the new 380 and the 9MM. :)

Not worried about the 10mm, I'm sweatin' the DoubleTap after looking at videos. I do have some 10mm 1600 fps underwood 135 grain rounds that might get a little hot.

Glad you got your gun Shark. Looking forward to the range report. I gave it a looking over before sending it out.
