Today was our monthly match of the Russell County Regulators. Conditions were oppressive and my performance suffered. Also, this was my first comp in 2 months and my first shooting at all in over a month.

I felt worse than I looked.

This was an interesting setup. Note the spinner on the left. Once you hit the first target, its spins making it more difficult. My first go at a spinner like that. I'll be ready for it the next time.

Despite the hot humid environment and the remnants of jet lag, it was great to get on the range with the RCR.

Man, I bet it would be a great video, running that setup! Gives cool a whole new meaning, especially with that spinner.

I enjoyed the challenge of shooting the Texas Star in IDPA, but now it's been outlawed :(

I always worked my way from the top down, shooting each at the top of it's movement to minimize the amount of swing.

Never knew about a Texas Star till Mike's post....went to a bunch of sites to buy one.....EXPENSIVE!
