I got in a Spyderco Endura today,I'd been waiting on it about ten days.Early last week pig told me he had ordered one,I checked it out and decided I wanted one too.It came in just sharp as hell, but I followed his lead by giving it about ten strokes on the fine Sharpmaker rods,it's ungodly sharp now.

Mine's purple

Only thing I changed was the clip to be tip down. Think it's gonna be a fine EDC

Been recommending that folder [ for people that have to carry a folder by law ] for decades to others. Have two of them that have sat for 11 years now, one NIB.

I don't carry broken knives anymore. ;)

Most do, takes some dedication and willingness to carry a real fighting knife, no different than a firearm. Put those little knives away and work with a big boy blade like this :D

Those small broken folders won't be much match when the pig sticker gets drawn to a #1, then 2, then number three using backcut's. Quick half step and I can "point" someone with the first 1-2" of that blade from six feet away. ;)

Spyderco has a good product line. I dont take them on my overseas trips for fear of confiscation.

"I don't carry broken knives generally, but when I do, it's a Spyderco Endura" -The Most Interesting Man in the World

Ok, I made up the quote, but nice knife Mike!

I've gotten to carrying a fixed blade pretty much all the time (Spyderco Perrin Bowie in Panther Concealment sheath of course!)

I never leave home without it!

Thanks to Barbie and Tony and Brownie I have added a Spyderco Endura 4 to my collection and a few others and now on the hunt for the next one.

Any suggestions Brownie,

Clyde

Check out there civilian as a dedicated sd blade. Nasty blade, just a really nasty blade to have used against you. I've had one for years, they are hardly ever spoken of. They will gut someone or cut a limb to the bone, disembowel someone in the blink of an eye.

Or were you looking for something more utilitarian, whats your price range?

Not sure why I thought of the civilian when you asked, it never been recommended before by me. Hmm

Nice, I carry one now and then but usually it's the Tenacious for me or sometimes the Persistence.
