So I treated myself to a M&P for Christmas, a Pro 5" that I will use in USPSA competition.

While the trigger is pretty smooth right out of the box, I have an Apex Tactical CAEK kit ready to install that will make it as smooth as any 1911.

My S&W family now includes the 29-3 44 Mag, a regular M&P 9mm, a Shield 9mm and a M&P 22.

Dennis, if you ever get to a LGS that has one, pick it up and try it. It fits the hand naturally just like a 1911 does, but with a twist, there are 3 different sized back straps so you can fine tune the fitment.

Purty much!!!

To tell the truth, I hadn't really thought about buying it, it was sort of on a whim. The window for getting "off roster" pistols is closing at the end of the year so I said, why not.

Did I mention Mayla got a new dining room table, chairs and china cabinet, hence why I bought myself a pistol? :D

Lonestar grips.
