As it turns out, I was considering that for my original OEM1, but didn't feel confident enough to do it. I'll give it some strong consideration, this time, especially since I can always replace it with another one if needed.


I don't mind losing the "backup" sight portion of it. I'm strictly a "scope" man, m'self..... :D

With that block, you can install a folding front sight in case your scope fails.
