My first AR-15...
 

I finally pulled the trigger, I couldn't pass the opportunity to get a quality-made, top of the line AR.

Spike's Tactical rifle, custom built by a friend who's an armorer at Spike's, and my shooting buddy. Loaded with all sorts of goodies that I can't even explain to you because I'm new to AR-15s. But it has the best components in it, my friend has access to everything at dealer cost and he knows his stuff.

Free floating barrel, entended bolt release, a red dot, and some sort of custom trigger.

Looks nice. Should be a tack driver. Post a range report.

That extended bolt release is a BAD (Battery Assisted Device) Lever, allowing to release the bolt with my trigger finger. Awesome.

I want to add an extended charging handle and an end plate swivel quick detach.

If I had friends like that I would be broker than I already am! Looks sweet!

From what my friend tells me, Spike's Tactical also makes some of the lightest ARs in the market. It's not a featherweight for sure but I'll trust him on that.

The rifle handles well, points great, and dry firing it shows a trigger that's crisp and short, very nice trigger feel.
