A fellow 2A Patriot needs our help!
 

All please take a look at this video from "Guns & Gadgets." He needs our help in contacting Sen. Joe Manchin (D Wv.)and putting pressure on him to *not* vote to end the FIlibuster in the Senate. Apparently HR8 (Universal Background Check) law and HR1445 (Extended NICS delays) have already passed the House and are on their way to the Senate as early as tomorrow. The only thing that will stop them in the Senate is the Filibuster. We absolutely need all of us to contact Joe Manchin and tell him, "We stand with you and hope you keep the filibuster alive." Certainly the Anti-gun forces (MOMS and EVERYTOWN) are already applying pressure to him to vote to eliminate it.


Please, review this video and try to contact Sen. Joe Manchin to keep the Filibuster alive. It may be the only thing that helps us keep what dwindling 2A rights we have left. Certainly after Merrick Garland was just confirmed as Atty Gen. We are going to need all the help we can get!

I read both bills, these do suck, BUT neither list a penalty for violating these laws? No punishments' written in the bills?

At this point, the greater concern is that in order to get these bills passed, they'll have to pass a law/resolution to eliminate the filibuster. That's the big prize. With that done, then they can ram through anything they want. That's what we need to fight and for which we needs Joe Manchin's help.

So, jaywalking is against law yet how it gets applied and the punishment is discretionary. Prior to it becoming a law... Now that it is a law depending on the official observer, you can be charged with jaywalking, creating a traffic hazard to public endangerment.

To put it bluntly, under this bill, what you did for your SIL opens the door for felony prosecution on both of you. This depending on your local jurisdiction and the pressure applied by the new Att/Gen "Jackass" and I'm sure you've read about him...:eek:
If they can pass enough of these innocuous little bills through and then get someone to reinterpret them, all of a sudden they have a weapon to use against you.
