Colt Trooper Question for you guys
Guys, I recently found a Colt Trooper Mark III with an 8 inch barrel. Colt says serial number is a 1980 Model, Official Police Officer Model. It is Blued and condition I'll say 90-95%. Smooth Action and The Blueing is VERY Good! Original Wood Grips. I can get it for $950.00. No Box or papers.
Question: Is that a decent price? I can tell it has not been shot a lot. Kept in a safe most of it's life probably. What do you guys think of $950.00? Decent, or too high? |
Sounds about right but, I’m no Colt expert. Hope someone comes along that knows for sure.

No One else has an opinion on my question?

Gun Broker has them running from around 499-1200, with most in the 800 range. I did not most bids for in the 499 range, with no bids in the 800 and up, from what I noticed. I have owned a King Cobra and Python; and still own a Detective Special and Diamondback. All have been very smooth, well made revolvers. IMHO, what it's worth is up to what you think it's work. I have enjoyed all of mine over the years.

I don’t have much knowledge as far as value but I can defiantly appreciate a couple pics and a range report post purchase!
