Convertible Deacon
 

Lane, I guess I don't have my fecal-matter-aggregated this morning because I was looking on your website at the Deacon's, wanting one that could be converted to either IWB or OWB, for a Commander. Anyway, I couldn't find what I was looking for (again the FMA issue this morning I'm sure). I did see this in the Holster/Belt thread: 1258 [OWB Commander] : Dyed today, drying (this one's a convertible OWB/IWB. I'll post some pictures)
That's what I want, I just need to know what to order, and is this style with leather loops or hooks? Thanks, Lane, I've decided to go the correct path and get one of your holsters, and possibly a belt.

I don't really have a final design for my "convertible" Deacon - that's why I haven't put anything up yet. I'm trying to come up with an elegant solution that people would be happy with.

The one mentioned above is basically my normal IWB holster with slots for occasional OWB use. If that's what you'd want, we are probably good to go.

If you see yourself as using it primarily for OWB with occasional IWB, then I'd probably do something a bit different. When I have this one done, I'll post some pictures for you to decide.

Thanks Lane. I'd probably wear more as IWB, but having that option seems intriguing. Our idiots in the Oklahoma legislature still haven't passed open carry, but they are close to passing.

That is going to be a very interesting holster Lane! Can not wait to see the one you finally decide meets your standards. I'm sure she will look great!!! And work even better.

The only I'm working on now is along the same lines as your top picture - primarily an IWB with belt slots for OWB.
