Nope, that one will probably be a library loaner. ;)

I wonder if it will run on .38ACP or 9mm Largo

.38 Wad Cutters were police loads for a a while. Also match ammo. I seem to recall reading the rounded bullet was glancing off glass and sheet metal but the wad cutters hit flat. They may also have some more compression in there for a little more punch. I only wonder about that rim scraping along the next round in the magazine. Could it possibly result in a feed issue? Maybe getting hung up on the rim of the round below it? If I recall correctly Magnum Research made a .357 Desert Eagle but maybe it was .357 Sig?

No; it was the original rimmed revolver round; the .357 S&W Magnum.

I used to own a .44 Mag Desert Eagle.

The .38spl 1911's were for full wadcutter loads only. The COAL was too long in standard .38spl loads.

Lonestar grips. 12-30-2014 11:56 AM

those wadcutter colts are cool!

mmm, I love my wadcutter gun. I got a S&W Model 52, super sweet trigger.
