New to me Milsurp
Did some trading and got myself a Lee Enfield No4 Mk1 1944 rifle. Looks to be all original with matching numbers.

Thanks everyone.
This thing was caked with dried cosmolene. The action was mushy and horrible feeling. After a couple of hours of cleanup and oil/greasing the action smoothed out like butter. Looks like someone took a dremel or wire wheel to the metal parts to try and remove the black paint that is usually on these rifles. Most of the bluing is gone so, I think I'll refinish this one without worring about ruining the value if any. It should be a nice project. |
Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
