Grips that fit!
Finally found a set of grips for my Dan Wesson M44. These are called Grippers from Hogue. Made of Pau-Ferro( Brazilian Rosewood). Problem I had was the original set of Famed Zebrawood Grips from Dan Wesson were too large for my hand. I would have to grip too high due to the swell in the rear and my trigger finger would rub against the frame above the trigger, cutting it within ten rounds. These new Grips are slightly smaller but, they don't force my hand up and my finger comfortably clears the frame-edge due to the way they're shaped in the rear along with the finger grooves. This is an excellent set of Grips. To be truthful, these aren't the easiest guns to find grips for and I was about ready to trade the gun off because I couldn't shoot it without donating blood. I can't stand any type of 'Goodyear Grips' so the standard rubber Hogues were out, Pachmyer quit making them also. Anyway, here is the obligatory photo of my DW with the new grips and the Zebrawood grips next to it.

Very nice, I'm glad your searching paid off! I nearly bought the same grips for my S&W 64 but decided to go with rubber, keeping it more in line with it's police pedigree. I've never been a fan of the Pach grips it came with.
