ing, they would send you back to Day One to start it all over again. When I was in Basic (1970) we had an individual, who was in his 3rd cycle of Basic. He was a biomechanical marvel in relation to upper body strength, as he had none. At the end of his 3rd cycle (#2 was a PT Flight) he could not do 3 correct pushups. As he was going into computers anyway, he magically graduated.
This sounds like the military equivalent of a participation award. Basic soldiers shouldn't have to throw those nasty grenades anyway. (That's sarcasm sparky)
