Hello friends, I'm hanging in there. I just went through thyroid cancer/thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine/isolation where I lived in the camper in the yard for a week eating bubba-burgers and avoiding any contact with the wife or the rescue puppies. It's just another medical speed bump. I need another back surgery so that makes 7 back surgeries, kidney cancer and thyroid cancer in the last 3 or 4 years.
I'm appreciative of the PM's and the well wishes. I'm hoping to get well so I can go shoot, right now I'm benched for sure. I have that new Shield .45 waiting for me.
Life is indeed unpredictable and can turn in an instant. The friendships here on the forum are among the things that keep me going.
Thank you.
