I have a 2010 Kimber Pro Raptor II Stainless that I've had Ed Brown bob tailed. Very nice. Would sell Kimber if buy Vbob for $1400. What do you think I can get for Kimber and is it worth the trade off?

don't forget squib is in cali, there is a hefty price premium in cali on DW guns. I paid 1450 for mine new in box last year at Newington Gun exchange. My local gun store here in norwalk was selling them for 1470 several months ago. I think 1400 is to much for a used vbob in ny or ct. If it was a vbob in duty treat (black) i would say it was a steal. 1200-1300 is where i would be comfortable.

I spoke to the CZ rep for this area on thursday. He came to my lgs, and was waiting for the owner. So i pumped him full of donuts and he blabbered latest info. Even though DW is not currently making guns as they move into their new building. A few of the buyers co-ops (buying clubs for smaller gun shops) are sitting on several hundred of each model.

As for the kimber, are you planning to trade it or sell it? Guns with custom work can sometimes be difficult to sell. In this case i don't think it will. You can try the local CT guntalk forum. They are allowing new york posters.

Throw some pics up.
