Another SA 1911
I guess I am on a Springer kick!
Got it used ... it was FILTHY! But it is fairly tight. Trigger is not great but the rest of the gun is in very good shape after a detail strip and an hour in the ultrasonic clearer. I will bead blast it to really clean it up and it will look like new! Now ... what to do with it (or to it)??? I am thinking old school pin gun. Compensators are COOL! I know they don't make a darned bit of difference on a 45 but ... like I said ... COOL! Ordered a magwell already and have a ton of spare parts to upgrade as needed. Will do some trigger work too. Link to Comp & Barrel http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/1911compkits.html Any other suggestions???
