First Revolver Holsters
I recently finished my first revolver holsters. Had a customer who wanted a pancake style OWB with some elephant skin for his 3 inch S&W M65. I made a few prototypes first. I made the third and final prototype with some cowhide simulating the elephant skin overlay. The dummy gun is for a 4 inch barrel K-frame, hence the barrel protruding from the bottom. Looks kind of goofy with it sticking out like that, but what can you do :-) Here's a few pics:
I was so excited about finally making a revolver holster, that I snagged a used J-frame dummy when it came up for sale. Made a prototype, and then made this holster to finalize the pattern: Paul |

Looking good! I like the faux elephant skin.

Thanks! The brown one with the brown overlay is the prototype. I used the same cowhide to simulate the pattern for the elephant. The black one with the tan/sand colored skin is genuine elephant, not faux.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. |
