Patriot PAWS Service Dogs

A wonderful story from Texas Country Reporter and the work being done to support our Veterans by Lori S tevens and her organization Patriot PAWS. She and her staff spend two years training each service dog at a cost of roughly $30,000 before it is placed with a Veteran at no cost to the Veteran. The Veterans aren’t the only ones who benefit though as a big part of the dogs training is conducted by prison inmates who are able to use their time to do something positive for someone else.
