I’d gtfo if I heard that sound! Lol

Honestly tho, my preference would be to have one in the chamber with safety on. On the Mossberg the safety is on the top or the grip where your thumb just lands on it. Hear a thump in the night, grab the 500, and flick that safety off in no time.

Unfortunately, the female unit does not feel comfortable operating it that way if need be. So, I currently have it with an empty chamber and safety off.

.... how often do you have to change out the batteries on the Inforce light? I’ve read that you have to unscrew the head piece when not in use because it’ll kill the battery even when in the off position.

Oof! Couldn’t tell you the last time I changed them. They last quite a bit. Since I’ve owned them, and it’s been a few years, maybe once or twice. More so on the handgun since I use it the most.

So you don’t unscrew the head piece when not in use? I wonder if that was just an isolated incident that I read about.... interesting.

Any time. Like anything else you have to find what works best for you.
Good luck.

This is true. Just trying not to have another “junk holster drawer”.
