Default For the shotshell reloader in you

Ok figured I would share a little load of mine with you all. It's for a 12ga. It's a great load for pheasants. I actually shot a squirrel with the load yesterday. He probably felt like he was hit with a ton of bricks. He did fall hard. Here is the data I use....

12Ga hull Winchester AA, Remington STS, Nitro 27, or Gun Club 2 3/4in
Remington SP12 Wad
30 Grains of LongShot powder
W209 Primer
1 1/4oz of #4 or #5 shot.

Now the 1 1/4 charge bar won't hold enough shot in it with the bigger size shot. So the trick is to use a 1 3/8oz charge bar. You gotta take you a couple peices of scotch tape and stick inside the hole that the shot goes into. You might have to play with it a little but it doesn't take much tape about 2 pieces on top of one another about an inch long. You will just have to mess with it and weigh the shot out until you get where you need to be.

Hope some of you find this post useful. I have loaded up over 200 of them so far. I am out of powder and wads now.

Finished Product
