My Mossberg 930 "JM Pro" (24" overall length) has a 9+1 capacity and is a "semi-auto." I think this is only a 4+1, right (same as the 930 "home security" model).
5+1 I would think 6 shots of either buck or bird would be enough.

This would be a good choice but, you have to be competent with how it operates (especially change tubes) and even tho it's a bullpup..... it's kinda bulky.

Not with a "home invasion" of 3 or more (which is how they usually come)..... I'd want a little more capacity.

Becoming competent with it is a breeze, changing tubes is nothing but a flick of the wrist. I shot one for 15 min and became very competent with it. And it's super reliable.

True. It also depends on several factors too. House size, "staged" weapons, plan of defense that you have in place, etc... I'm in a small condo type place now and I have firearms in specific places not visible but, easily accessible. Granted, I don't have kids in the house so no worries about locking them up. So, the plan is if there is time....make it into the "safe room" and defend it with a pump and a couple of pistols (15+ capacity each plus extra mags). We only have to worry about one entrance, the safe room door. Popping intruders as they try to enter into said room with buckshot and pistol ammo headed in thier direction. Side saddle on the shotty if a reload is necessary. If they decide not to enter the room then, we wait till the cops show up. Items are replaceable, lives are not.

No real experience with it so, I was just giving an uninformed personal opinion. As with every weapon, training is key. I have heard good things about it but, keltec is draw of the luck sometimes on thier stuff. Hopefully, thier products are much better now than a few years ago.
