Default Fusion Firearm follow up

The saga continues. I met the Fusion rep today at Volusia Top Gun. Before he got there I met with Paul and Ray from VTG, both of whom have been very helpful with this issue. We broke the gun down to look at the damage. Neither had seen anything like the wear on this pistol. They also noticed that the extractor was broken. I guess I was so wrapped up in the wear issue that I hadn't noticed. Anyway, the rep took one look at the pistol and said he had never seen anything like this before. Apparently the gun was too tight... He asked me what I wanted to do and I finally decided to have them replace the pistol. I also asked for Bob Serva to send me an email admitting he was wrong. The rep just laughed. Considering how well that pistol shot I will give them one more chance. Hopefully it will live up to my expectations. Will do AAR once I receive the new one.

Now for the sales pitch. I have never met Paul from VTG. He went out of his way to make this right without being asked. Customer service like this is rare. Based on this alone I will recommend folks give VTG a close look when you are ready to buy. (disclaimer- I have no business or financial relationship with VTG)

Nice to see that they finally agreed to stand behind it.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.
