Default Race revolver update

Well howdy again
Had a little time so I thought I would give you a little update to my Race Revolver 67-5.

I removed the red dot rail and replaced it with a NEW mount form John Allchin shooting (it fits perfectly in the are of the old rear sight). It is smaller and allows for most holsters.

Then I added a C-More RTS2 Red Dot sight (great little red dot) instead of the Weaver Red Dot.

Needing a holster for my CR speed belt I had R-U-ReadyGear.com make a custom kydex holster for my setup (needed enough room to clear the red dot sight).
They did a great job and had it in 1 week in hand.

These are the new results.

Actually, the gun was finished last week.
Before I had a chance to "lock" down the mount and the red dot sight, i took it inside to the range. The RTS2 red dot sight was almost right on target out of the box (and for what it costs it should shoot all by its self).
It took two moon clips (12 rounds) to zero the gun at 50' (most steel challenge targets are much closer).
The gun with the new sight /mount set up shoots about 1.5" groups, but this is really not necessary since most of my shooting with this wheel gun will be a large steel plates with a small stop plate.
I will be shooting it again this week and will post a target from that shoot.
Thanks for the interest and asking
